Making a Difference


Here is a poem I got at my old school, here it is:


I live in a community.
On a Island in the sea
Millions of people live here
And one of them is me

There are lots of different people
Some are like me some are not
But we all have one thing in common...
Our hearts beats in the same spot!

I am just one person
But I have big, bright ideas!
I know I can make a difference
I can bring goodness and cheer

I can help those less fortunate
Because I know that it is good
To do something for someone else
I think everyone should!

Together we can make a difference
And we can start today
I can help those around me
And make my school a better place

    That is a lovely poem Amelia. I imagine that living in such an over-populated place it would be easy to think that it is hard to stand out and be different to the crowd, but if everyone displays kindness and helps each other what a great place a community can be, even if it is in a sea of buildings and concrete!
