My Sister Gabby

I have a younger sister called Gabby. Most people know Gabby. Right? Gabby is 3yrs younger than me . Gabby likes to think that she is 3yrs older than me. Sometimes I like to imagine what it would be like if I didn't have a younger sister. How awesome it would be.

There wouldn't be anyone to steal my clothes or my jewellery. There wouldn't be anyone to make any annoying noises or weird sounds or sing opera at the most inapproprate time like in the thearte with all the other  opera singers, or to shout "Go NZ!"at the Hong Kong sevens at the top of her lungs and have everyone staring at us. "How embarrasing". When I had friends over for playdates, I wouldn't have my sister hanging out with us trying to act cool like a big kid. I would always have the best spot in front of the TV, on the couch, in the car, the window seat on the plane and the seat at the dinner table that faces the TV. We wouldn't need to fight ove the computer oe mums iphone.

I would always be the beat singer and dancer in the family no matter what! And santa would always bring me the biggest present!!

However, if I did  not have a younger sister, I would not have anyone to blame when mum finds out someone has been playing with her makeup, clothes, shoes and sunglasses. Or if I tried to use my dad's hat.

I would not have anyone to wear my old clothes that I've grown out of . And I would have no one to blame for accidently throwing a ball through the window or leaving a trial of mud through the house.

But then, if I didn't have a younger sister there would be no  one to make me laugh at the most stupid things, like when she roly polys off the bed, or snorts water out her nose, or sleeps with her mouth open, or when we have pillow fights ( I always win )

There would be no one to share stuff with like getting our new puppy, or getting matching dresses and raincoats, or laughing at silly stuff on youtube, or singing together.

So really while it might be really nice to imagine ife without my sister, I really am lucky to have her because she makes me laugh, she is there to share anything and will always be ready to sing.

I reckon that as much as your younger brother or sister annoys you that you love them as much as I love my sister, and you couldn't imagine a world without them.
