Me and Jamie's Song

About a month ago Jamie and I made a song, we have no idea what the song is called, but we do know that is about me coming to the school and Jamie showing me around.

Hope you enjoy it, the tune is Want U Back by Cher Lloyd

Hey my name is Amelia May,
and I'm really lost today,
could someone show me my way, way, way.
Yeah

Hey my name is Jamie aya,
apparently you've lost your way,
just tell me where you need to go,go,go
Yeah

I've been here for four whole years,
and I really like it here,
before I show you Room 5s alive,
I've got to tell you the values!

Trust, Honesty and consideration,
and always rely on Ms McDonald alliterations.

I wanna go back, I wanna go back, I wanna,  I wanna, I wanna go back to Hong Kong

Don't be upset it's not that scary,
as long as you pass Ms Clark in the Library.

Return your books, Return your books, Return, Return, your books. yeah

Actually, I think I've changed my mind,
this school is quite devine,
I wonder what I'll find, find, find
Yeah

You'll find some pencils here or there,
a few rubbers over there,
and if your lucky a desk or chair.

This school has been here since 1952,
Damn I need to tie my shoe,
Our best always is our school motto,
Jese why don't you just a photo.

W.I.T.S Walk away, ignore, tell someone
Say I statement dont through a tantrum.

I need to relax, I need to relax. I need, I need to relax

Hey there is an Ancient flax over there
lets go to morning tea and have some snacks.

We love this school, We love, We love this school. Yeah

So there you have it me and Jamie's Song.

My Time at V.A.S

Although  I only started school here, this year. I have made a lot of great memories, I am sad to leave the school, but not as sad about all the friends that I will miss. I started school late February, so I have kind of been here for quite a while, but not as long as most people.

I still remember my first day of school, I came into the classroom and Ms McDonald introduce me to Sophie and Maddie. V.A.S is quite different to my old school in Hong Kong, I mean it was ten stories high and most of the schools in New Zealand are only about two stories high.

Some of the Amazing things that I have done or are going to do this year.

Term 1

School Camp
Senior Swimming Sports
Sausage Sizzle
Paul Left
I arrived

Term 2

My Teacher

A great poem, which is exactly like my teacher

Our Teacher sings the Beatles

Our teacher sings the Beatles
She must know every song
We ask her please to stop
But she just sings, "It won't be long,"

And then she croons like Elvis
She clearly thinks its cool
And if we beg her not to
She just belts out, "Don't be cruel."

She then does Michael Jackson
It drives us nearly mad
We have to cover up our ears
Because she's really, bad

She winds up with the wiggles
Or else a Barney song,
And, Even worse, she tells us all
That we should sing along.

It's all My fault she does this
I feel like such a fool
I wish I'd never brought
Karaoke box to school.

Kenn Nesbitt

Actually, this is nothing like my teacher at all :)

Auckland Marathon

On Sunday the 28th of October, over 16,500 competed in the 2012 Auckland Marathon. The 42km Marathon started at Devonport, looped through St Heliers and finished at Victoria Park. Rowan Walker won for the men's at a time of 2hr 24min and Alexander Williams won for the women's at a time of 2hr 41min.

Among those who ran the marathon was my mother competing for the first time. She ran a time of  5hr 30min which was slower than she would've liked, but overall she was pleased for being able to cross the finish the line and achieve her goal of running a marathon. She started training in June and would get up at 5:00am in the morning to go for a run. Her favourite part of the marathon was when she was running across the harbour bridge admiring the beautiful view and the worst bit was when her knees and her hip started to hurt.

I am really proud of my mum for completing the marathon, because she put in alot of effort. The Auckland Marathon was a huge success!
